Outerknown is a retail haven crafted by surfing legend Kelly Slater and the design minds at Starch Creative. We were entrusted to deliver the SoHo flagship — in eight weeks, gut to grand opening.

Renowned for their commitment to sustainability, Starch Creative and millworker Purpose Supply Co. seamlessly blended form and function. We orchestrated the demolition of the existing space and meticulously restored the original curved ceilings to serve as the canvas for the new build.

Every element — from the warm, reclaimed wood floors and cedar slat walls to the signature fishing-net merchandise display — emanates an eco-conscious ethos. All materials were responsibly sourced, and the millwork was executed with precision and artistry.
