Co-op Kitchen

Street.
An Upper East Side co-op kitchen organized around a single material gesture: book-matched arabescato marble that runs from the backsplash across the counters and waterfalls down the island.
Soft white cabinetry recedes against the stone. A fluted plaster hood and a sculptural neon-tube pendant introduce sculpture without competing with the marble's own movement; boucle stools and white oak floors keep the room warm.
Open shelving on blackened steel anchors a small bar; the result is a compact city kitchen that reads larger than its footprint.
