East 69th Street — hero

An Upper East Side co-op renovation in collaboration with Larisa Barton of Soeur Interiors — small in scope, generous in detail. The kitchen is organized around a single material gesture: book-matched arabescato marble that runs from the backsplash across the counters and waterfalls down the island.

Soft white cabinetry recedes against the stone. A fluted plaster hood and a sculptural pendant introduce line without competing with the marble's own movement; bouclé stools and white oak floors keep the room warm.

Open shelving on blackened steel anchors a small bar, and the kitchen opens out to the dining room so the whole floor reads larger than its footprint.

The primary bath is its calmer counterpart — fluted oak millwork, soft slate floors, and a glass-enclosed shower scaled for daily life rather than spectacle.
