A condo conversion of five exclusive residences in the heart of SoHo — a triplex, a duplex, and a full-floor home — each a modern interpretation of the classic cast-iron loft. Designed by Fogarty Finger Architecture, the work pairs perfectly restored original detailing with crisply contemporary planes.
Fogarty Finger’s pared-down aesthetic is built on luxurious materials and quiet detail. A study in black-and-white geometry, offset by warm splashes of wood and stone, the homes evoke the iconic New York townhouse through a thoroughly modern lens.
The architectural centerpiece is our floating oak staircase. Each step appears to hover effortlessly, the interplay of light and shadow turning a circulation moment into the project’s most photographed detail. Across the bathrooms, herringbone marble floors meet book-matched slab walls; freestanding tubs anchor every primary suite.
