Bronxville
Colonial.
A 100-year-old colonial in Bronxville, taken down to the studs and rebuilt as a modern family home. The scope covered every room, plus a rear extension that adds living space and natural light without changing the home's quiet street-front character.
The new kitchen is the project's anchor — calacatta-pattern slab counters and backsplash, white shaker cabinetry with brushed brass hardware, and a professional range tucked under a steel hood. Adjacent rooms carry the same disciplined palette: white walls, oak floors, and crisp millwork.
Custom built-ins replace closets throughout — open-shelf wardrobes in the bedrooms, a tailored mudroom at the entry. The lower level was opened up beneath an exposed white-painted beam ceiling and reframed around a black-painted staircase that ties the floors together.
